The Garmin Forerunner 745 is the company’s “smallest and lightest full-featured running and triathlon smartwatch.”
Alongside standard smartwatch functions, it can track a wide variety of activities. It comes in four color options and silicon straps.

The Garmin Forerunner 745 comes with 5 ATM water resistance. It is made from fiber-reinforced polymer and comes with a silicone band.
The 1.2-inch color touchscreen comes with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. The sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX.
In terms of dimensions, the new smartwatch measures 43.8 x 43.8 x 13.3mm and weighs 47 grams. It comes with built-in GPS, Bluetooth, ANT+, and Wi-Fi as connectivity options.
Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, barometric altimeter, compass, Glonass, gyroscope, and a thermometer.

The Garmin Forerunner 745 offers heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation, stress tracking, sleep monitoring, and menstrual cycle monitoring.
The new wearable can also monitor cardio workouts, strength, yoga, Pilates workout, and also has automatic rep counting. It comes with a step counter, distance calculator, calorie counter, and multiple gym activity profiles.
Additionally, the Garmin Forerunner 745 comes with tracking for swimming, cycling, outdoor recreation, running, and training.
The new smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It can store 200 hours of activity data as well.
The Garmin Forerunner 745 is touted to last up to 7 days on a single charge. With GPS on, it can last up to 16 hours. However, with both GPS and music on, users will get 6 hours of usage.

The new smartwatch comes in four color options – Black, Magma Red, Neo Tropic, and Whitestone. It was launched in the US with a price tag of $499 (approx Rs 36,700).
