The Garmin Forerunner 245 is priced in India at Rs 29,990. It comes in Amp Yellow and Slate color options. On the other hand, the Garmin Forerunner 245 Music comes with a price tag of Rs 34,990. It will be available in Aqua, Black, and Lava Red color options.
Both smartwatches are now available via both online (Amazon India, Myntra, and Paytm Mall) and offline stores.

Apart from the core tracking functions, the Garmin Forerunner 245 and 245 Music come with more running specified features. This includes dynamic running tracking and a pulse oximeter.
The waterproof devices also come with swimming profiles. Other features include VO2 Max monitoring, training status (with adjustments for heat/ recovery time), and aerobic/ anaerobic training effects.
The lightweight wearables sport an always-on, sunlight-readable display. The Forerunner 245 series comes with a 42mm casing. It promises the seven-day battery life in smartwatch mode, 24 hours in GPS mode, and 6 hours with music and GPS use.
The 245 Music variant comes with onboard storage for music and playback capabilities. It holds up to 500 songs. You can even sync playlists from preloaded music streaming services (such as Spotify, Deezer, etc) or transfer music from a computer.
The new smartwatches are compatible with the Garmin Coach app. It allows users to train for a 10km or half-marathon. Garmin had added three new running coaches – Jeff Galloway, Greg McMillan, and Amy Parkerson-Mitchell.
A Body Battery feature helps optimize the body’s energy. The energy monitoring feature uses collected data and allows users to plan their day accordingly. You can optimize times for activity and rest.
Whereas new safety/ tracking feature allows users to share their real-time location with chosen contacts. Additional features include all-day activity tracking, smart notifications, and wrist-based heart rate monitoring.

The Garmin Forerunner 245 and Forerunner 245 Music were globally launched last month, alongside the Forerunner 45, Forerunner 45S, and Forerunner 945.
