A new Samsung Galaxy S10 leak has surfaced online, suggesting that the handset will be available in three variants and the premium variant will have a triple-rear camera module. Earlier leaks have suggested that the smartphone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, 3D Face Unlock, and a bezel-less display without notch. It also won’t have an iris scanner.

Galaxy S10 Leak Suggests Triple-Rear Camera Setup

According to South Korean publication ETNews, the handset will have three variants. The base variant will have a flat 5.8-inch display.

The other variant has a 5.8-inch display with curved edges.

Meanwhile, the third variant has a large 6.2-inch display and a triple-rear camera setup.

No Iris Scanning Module

According to The Bell, the company is already making parts for the handset but doesn’t intend to make any iris scanning module.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Leak Hints At Sound-Emitting Display

If the Galaxy S10 leak is true, then the smartphone will provide a larger display.

Prior to this Galaxy S10 leak, the company had presented this tech at the SID Expo May 2018.

According to The Bell, the company has already started working on its next flagship device. It is expected to be called Samsung Galaxy S10. So the Samsung Galaxy S10 release date could be earlier than expected.

According to the report, the smartphone will be codenamed “Beyond”. Samsung usually gives such codenames to its devices which are under development. The codename defines the gadget’s characteristics. The S9 series was named “STAR”, meanwhile the S8 series was named “Dream”.

The “Beyond” codename indicates that Samsung could be working on a smartphone which hasn’t ever been introduced to the market.

Samsung is also working with Qualcomm, Ezestek, and Synaptics. It is being done to develop fingerprint-on-display (FOD) scanners. According to The Bell, vendors for Galaxy S10 hasn’t been decided yet. It is being speculated that multiple vendors will be selected. This will allegedly be done so that the company has enough FODs during mass production. The report further speculates that the Galaxy S10 will have a 3D sensing module. It will permit an iPhone X-like facial recognition system to the phone.

It is being widely reported that Mantis Vision and Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electronics Institute of Technology to develop the 3D sensors for its upcoming flagship device.
