Samsung has upgraded its Galaxy J2 Core smartphone (originally launched in 2018). It comes with improvements in design and specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 is priced in India at Rs 6,299. It is available for sale on the official Samsung India website.
For interested customers, the company is offering EMI options starting from Rs 296.51 per month. Shipping is scheduled to start in late May.

The new smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) and 1GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card (up to 256GB).

Previously, Samsung planned to replace the old J-series with a new ‘Galaxy A’ series. The new launch seems like a shift in the company’s smartphone strategy.
As of now, it is not clear if there will be more ‘J’ series devices in the coming months. The new handset came after a gap of two years.
