Conclusion
With several foldable devices in the market now, Samsung is working on bringing new foldable phones next year.
“While we can’t comment on future products, Samsung is committed to pioneering the foldable category, including investing in the development of new form factors,” Samsung said in a statement.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will feature a clamshell folding-screen form factor with a 10MP punch-hole camera. It is tipped to sport a dual-camera setup at the back (with 12MP primary camera).
The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED foldable display will feature Samsung’s Ultra-Thin Glass and a plastic layer on top of it (to prevent scratches).
There will also be a 1.0-inch cover display. Also, the UI will resize elements if the clamshell device is partially folded. A fingerprint scanner will be placed on the side.
