The new mirrorless camera can capture 100-megapixel images. It features “world’s highest 102-megapixel large format sensor” (about 1.7 times the size of a 35mm full-frame sensor).
The Fujifilm GFX100S weighs around 900 grams. It comes with the X-Processor 4 (image sensor) and 19 film simulation modes. Let’s take a closer look:

The new camera sport a 102-megapixel sensor that measures 43.8 x 32.9mm in size. It can record up to 11,648×8,736 pixels in 4:3 aspect ratio and up to 11,648×6,552 in 16:9.
The Fujifilm GFX100S uses the X-Processor 4 image-processing engine and the ultra-sonic vibration sensor cleaning system. It has an ISO range of 100 to 12,800 (200 to 12,800 in video mode).
The mirrorless camera has a mechanical/ electronic focal plane shutter and single/ continuous/ manual focus options. It also comes with face/ eye detection.

The Fujifilm GFX100S features 6.0-stops of five-axis image stabilization. It can record 4K videos at up to 29.97fps for up to 120 minutes and full-HD videos at up to 59.94fps for up to 120 minutes.
The digital camera is rated for up to 460 frames for still images in normal mode and up to 95 minutes while recording continuous 4K video. It can record approximately 110 minutes of full-HD videos.
The 0.5-inch OLED color viewfinder (approximately 3.69 million dots) comes with a built-in eye sensor. Whereas the 3.2-inch LCD monitor (touch screen) supports tilt adjustment in three angles.

The Fujifilm GFX100S works with SD card, SDHC card, SDXC card, and UHS-I/ UHS-II/ Video Speed Class V90 for storage.
Fujifilm has also added 19 film simulation modes (PROVIA/Standard, Velvia/Vivid, ASTIA/Soft, Classic Chrome, PRO Neg.Hi, etc). A new Film Simulation mode offers an image similar to the “New American Color” format from the 1970s.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, HDMI Micro connector (Type-D), 3.5mm microphone and headphone connectors, 2.5mm remote release connector, and a USB Type-C port.

The Fujifilm GFX100S is priced at $5,999 (approx Rs 4,38 lakh) for the body only. It will be available later month. Shipping is expected to start on March 11.
However, as of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
