The Fossil Q Venture HR, Q Explorist HR are priced in the range of Rs 19,995 to Rs 21,995 (depending on the band and color preference). Both smartwatches will be available in the country by November 2018.

While the Fossil Q Explorist HR is 45mm in diameter, the Q Venture HR is 40mm. Exchangeable bands measure 22mm and 18mm, respectively. Other features are mostly the same.
Both are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and run Wear OS by Google. Both Explorist and Venture devices come with Google Pay support. Fossil claims that the Explorist HR and Venture HR are ‘swim-proof’. However, it does not come with a specified IP-rating.
Tracking features in the new smartwatches include a built-in GPS and a heart-rate sensor. The swim workout tracking also integrates Google Fit. The new devices come with 4GB internal storage (for music playback, etc) and offer a battery life of 24 hours. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and Wi-Fi b/g/n.

Fossil claims that it aims to offer one device that is also a traditional watch and an activity tracker. The company claims that it delivers competitive technology without compromising on technology. “Since our entry to the smartwatch market, it has always been our first priority to be nimble and adapt quickly to innovations-both in technology and design,” said Steve Evans, EVP, Fossil.
Previously, the company had launched Misfit Vapor smartwatch in India at Rs 14,995. It features a 1.39-inch full round AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326ppi. The touch bezel allows users to browse through Vapor’s watch faces and applications. You can also respond to notifications. The Misfit Vapor runs Android Wear 2.0 OS. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and comes with 4GB internal storage. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and WiFi. The new smartwatch is water resistant to 50 meters. It is 44mm in size and comes with a satin-finished stainless steel casing.
