Zoom had added a new feature that allows you to add facial filers to your image during video calls. This includes eyebrows, moustache, beard, and lip colors.
You can pick almost any color (purple, green, light brown, etc) for facial effects. It also allows you to save your chosen facial effects as default for all future meetings.
The new Zoom Studio Effects feature is still in beta. However, it is now rolling out for more users. Here’s how you can use the new filters during video calls:

How To Add Facial Filters In Zoom Video Calls
- Start a Zoom meeting
- Click on the ^ arrow next to the Stop Video button
- Now, select Video Settings
- Next, Go to Backgrounds & Filters
- Then, click on Studio Effects at the bottom-right of the pop-up window
- Now, you may be required to download the effects package first
- That’s it! Studio Effects (Beta) will be available for you.
Now you can simply click on Studio Effects (Beta) to explore various effects. OPtions include different styles of eyebrows, mustache and beard, and lip colors.
You can choose from the default colors or pick a new color. It also allows you to set the the opacity according to your wish.

Note
While Zoom allows you to choose facial effects as default for all your future meetings, it is not advisable if you often take work meetings.
