The Fairphone 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 3000mAh battery comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a 12-megapixel rear camera (with f/1.8 aperture) and an 8-megapixel front camera (with f/2.0 aperture).

The Fairphone 3 runs stock Android 9 Pie operating system. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM handset sports a 5.65-inch display with a Full-HD+ resolution with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It measures only is 9.89mm in thickness. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
The Fairphone 3 body is made up of dark translucent material. The smartphone device is made out of recycled and fairly sourced materials.
In case of any accident or damage, users can order spare parts from the company and replace themselves. A mini screwdriver for modular component replacements and a bumper case are included in the box.
However, to reduce clutter, the shipping box does not contain a charger, USB cable or earphones. In case you don’t have these accessories with you, the official ones can be ordered separately.

The Fairphone 3 is priced in Europe at EUR 450 (approx Rs 34,650). Shipping will start in early October. The comp[any claims that the new smartphone will be more widely available than the Fairphone 1 and Fairphone 2.
The modular handset comes with a two-year warranty. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
