Oppo has finally launched the successor of its F9 Pro smartphone in India. The Oppo F11 Pro sports a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a pop-up selfie cam. It will take on the recently launched Vivo V15 Pro (also features a pop-up selfie cam). Both handsets run on Android Pie OS, sports large batteries and triple rear cameras. The Oppo F11 Pro is priced in India at Rs 24,990. It comes in Aurora Green and Thunder Black color options. Whereas the Vivo V15 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 28,990. It comes in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red color options. The Oppo handset seems more affordable than its Vivo counterpart.

Performance
The Oppo F11 Pro is powered by octa-core (quad + quad-core) MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. On the other hand, the Vivo V15 Pro comes with an octa-core (dual + hexacore) Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AIE processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. In the power department, the Oppo smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with the company’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology (offers two hours of usage in five minutes of charging). Whereas the Vivo V15 Pro is backed by a 3,700mAh battery with fast charging support.

Camera
The dual camera set up on the Oppo F11 Pro combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor (with AI support, f/1.79 aperture) with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). The company has also added a Super Night Mode for low-light conditions.
However, the Vivo V15 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup. It uses a 48MP Quad Pixel sensor (enabling 12-megapixel effective pixels, f/1.8 aperture), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor (AI Super Wide-Angle, f/2.2 aperture), and a 5-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture). Camera features include AI Body Shaping and AI Portrait Lighting.
Both handsets sport a pop-up selfies cam with a slider mechanism. While the Oppo handset sports a center-aligned 16-megapixel front camera (with f/1.79 aperture, AI Beautification, Portrait mode, and Ultra Night mode), the Vivo smartphone comes with a right-aligned 32-megapixel front camera sensor (with f/2.0 aperture and Portrait Light effect).

Features
While the Oppo F11 Pro runs on ColorOS 6 (based on Android 9 Pie), the Vivo V15 Pro runs Funtouch OS 9 (based on Android 9.0 Pie). Both handsets come with standard connectivity options including a micro USB port. However, while the Vivo V15 Pro offers Bluetooth v5 connectivity, the Oppo F11 Pro supports Bluetooth v4.2.
Display
The Oppo F11 Pro sports a 6.53-inch LCD display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.90 percent screen ratio. Whereas the Vivo V15 Pro sports a slightly smaller 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullView display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution.
Design
Both Oppo F11 Pro and Vivo V15 Pro sport a 3D gradient back cover design with an almost bezel-less display. While the Oppo F11 Pro features a physical fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, the Vivo V15 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Last year, the Vivo NEX made a splash with its unique pop-up front camera that broke the trend of display notches. Now, the Oppo F11 Pro and Vivo V15 Pro have brought the innovative design element to mainstream devices.
