The new Dell Latitude Rugged laptops are aimed at working professionals in industries like oil and gas, first responders, government, and law enforcement.
Both the Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged and Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme come with up to 25 hours of battery life (along with fast charging support and dual hot-swappable batteries).
The new models also come with 11th-generation Intel Core processors and run Windows 11 OS out-of-the-box. The company is offering an optional 5G support. Let’s take a closer look:

Both new laptops are powered by 11th-generation Intel Core processors along with an optional vPro integrated platform. The Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged comes with an optional discrete graphics card.
Both the Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged and Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme come with dual hot-swappable batteries that can last up to 25 hours on a single charge. An Express Charge Boost offers up to 35 percent of charge in 20 minutes.

A Dell Optimizer software uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize system performance based on usage. There is also TPM 2.0 ControlVault for advanced security.
The Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged sports a 14-inch daylight-readable display with up to 1,400 nits of brightness and glove-touch support.
The rugged laptop features an IP53-rated build that is said to have passed drop-tests from up to three feet. It weighs around 1.97 kilograms.

On the other hand, the Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme features a 13-inch display daylight-readable display with an optional 1,400 nits of brightness and glove multi-touch support.
The rugged laptop features an IP65 certified build (drop tested from up to six feet). The company claims it is the smallest 5G-capable 13-inch fully-rugged laptop.

Price and Availability
Both the new Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged and Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme will be available in the global markets from December 9. However, there is no information about the pricing details as yet.
