The new gaming laptop comes with a new design. The company has removed the thermal shelf to reduce 14% in the Y dimension. It features a slim all-metal chassis, a six-speaker setup, 100 micro-LED rear stadium lighting, and an RGB-illuminated touchpad.
The new Stealth Mode feature allows customers to turn off AlienFX lighting, make the keyboard white backlit and set performance to Quiet Mode at the touch of a button. Whereas the Alienware Command Center 6.1 (AWCC) is a centralized hub that allows quick access to settings such as game-specific profiles and themes, AlienFX lighting, macros, and more.
Three new gaming notebooks debut — the redesigned Alienware m16 R2, the ultra-premium x16 R2, and our performance juggernaut, the m18 R2.
Dell Alienware m16 R2
The new laptop is powered by an Intel Ultra 7 or 9 processor along with up to an Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, up to 64GB RAM, and up to 8TB SSD storage (dual 4TB PCIe M.2 NVMe).
The Dell Alienware m16 R2 features a 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution display with a refresh rate of 240Hz with a 3ms response time. It comes with a new 180-degree hinge and a larger touchpad.

Dell Alienware x16 R2
The Alienware x16 R2 is powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 155H/ Core Ultra 9 185H processors along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics, up to 32GB LP-DDR5X 7467 MT/s memory, and up to 8TB SSD storage.
The new laptop sports a 16-inch display with a 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 3 millisecond response time.
Connectivity options include a mini DisplayPort 1.4, two Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, a microSD card and headset jack.

Dell Alienware m18 R2
The Alienware m18 R2 is powered by a 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900HX along with GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, up to 64GB Dual-Channel DDR5 5200MHz RAM, and up to 8TB SSD space.
The new laptop sports a large 18-inch with a 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate and a 3 millisecond response rate. You can also choose a 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution panel with 480Hz refresh rate and 3 millisecond response time.

The Dell Alienware m16 R2 comes with a starting price of $1,649. The Alienware x16 R2 and the Alienware m18 R2 starts at $2,099 and $1,899, respectively. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
Additionally, the company has launched two first-of-its-kind QD-OLED monitors (Alienware AW3225QF and AW2725DF), Alienware Pro Wireless Keyboard ($199.99), and Pro Wireless Mouse ($149.99).
