The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is priced at Rs 14,999 in India. It will be exclusively available via Amazon India from September 4. The smartphone was launched in China in May this year. Coolpad claims that the new handset has been customised for the Indian market.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by a 1.95GHz octa-core (4 x ARM Cortex A72 cores + 4 x ARM Cortex A53 cores) Snapdragon 653 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be expanded via a micro SD card.
On the camera front, the Coolpad Cool 6 features a dual camera setup on the back with f/2.0 aperture and a dual-LED flash. It combines a 13-megapixel Sony RGB (color) sensor with a 13-megapixel monochrome (black and white) sensor. The 8-megapixel camera comes with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.
Coolpad claims that the new handset can last up to two days on a single charge. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which offers up to 300 hours of standby time.
