Recently, we told you about Lenovo ThinkPad 8 tablet that was announced at CES earlier. Now this time Asus comes up with a 8 inch tablet too. But the Asus Vivo Tab 8 does not stand solid in front of Lenovo ThinkPad 8. But the different thing is Asus Vivo Tab 8 comes with a stylus from Wacom. The Wacom Digitizer Stylus offers over 1000 level of pressure sensitivity. According to the company it provides natural writing and drawing experience at high speed, accuracy. It comes with Microsoft Office Home which include Microsoft Word, Excel power point and OneNote. This tablet comes with SonicMaster audio technology which provide better sound quality according to Asus. Asus wants to target professional users by launching this tablet with stylus and useful applications. The company has not mentioned pricing and availability of this tablet.
This tablet is packed with an 8-inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixel resolution. There is 1.33GHz quad core Intel Atom processor coupled with 2GB RAM. Its running Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera at back along with HD front facing camera for video calling. There is 64GB internal storage in this device and also it supports up to 64GB memory cards too. In terms of connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.
