Celkon has expanded its Campus series with the launch of Celkon Campus A518 smartphone in the Indian market. Under the hood, the dual-SIM device is powered by a 1 GHz single-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 5 inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixel resolution.

It sports a 3.2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. The Campus A518 houses 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The handset is backed up by a 2000 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wif-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE and Micro-USB as connectivity options.

LG Magna Launched In India At Rs. 16,500: Specs & Features

Originally unveiled in February 2015, the LG Magna has now reached Indian shores. The handset was introduced alongside LG Spirit, Leon & Joy mid-ranged phones during MWC 2015. The LG Spirit has already been launched in the country in March 2015. As for specifications, the Magna is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor accompanied with 1 GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating syetm, the phone features a 5 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and 294 ppi pixel density. Besides a gently curved design, the handset also boasts of slightly curved display featuring 3000 mm radius.

Facebook Launches Voice Calling In Messenger App

In a bid to take on Skype and Hangout apps, Facebook has announced the launch of voice calling in messenger app. Facebook’s new voice calling feature will allow the users to make free video calls and have face to face conversations with the one’s in their friend list. Android and iOS users with Facebook messenger app on their mobile phone can make video calls using this feature.

To initiate a video call, the user will just have to tap on the video icon located at the top right corner of the screen during a messenger conversation or chat. Micromax has added a new handset to its Canvas series, the Micromax Canvas Play smartphone. The Canvas Play is now listed on company’s official website as well as an online portal eBay India. Under the hood, this dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it features a 5.5 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels.

The Canvas Play sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. On storage front, it houses 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
