Yu Televentures launched the successor of Yureka, dubbed the Yu Yureka Plus in India earlier this week. The device is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in. First flash sale is scheduled for July 24, 2015, while registrations are open till July 23 midnight.

Sony Xperia S60 And S70 Reportedly Launching Soon

Sony is reportedly working on its two high-end smartphones- Sony Xperia S60 and Xperia S70. The devices are likely to be introduced before IFA 2015 conference. If reports are to be believed, both high-end phones will be available in Europe in mid-August or August 18, to be specific.

Both devices will feature 32GB of inbuilt storage. As for color options, the Xperia S60 will be available in White, Black, Yellow and Coralie colors while the Xperia S70 will be launched in White, Gold and Black color options. Rest of the details about features and specifications of the phone are scarce as of now and are likely to surface in the coming days.

Vivo V1 & V1 Max Launched In India: Price, Specs & Features

Chinese handset maker Vivo has introduced its V series of smartphones in the Indian market. This series includes- Vivo V1 and V1 Max smartphones.

The Vivo V1 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system wrapped under FunTouch UI, the device features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The V1 sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2300mAh battery, it offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB as connectivity options.

After launching the Vivo X5 Pro in China in May 2015, Vivo has launched the smartphone in the Indian market.

As for specifications, X5 Pro comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, 16GB inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card), 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 8 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2450 mAh battery. The device also supports 4G LTE connectivity. Unlike the variant which was launched in China, the Indian variant lacks eye scanner feature.

Celebrating its first year in the country, Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Mi 4i 32GB variant in the Indian market. As for specifications, it packs same features as the previous 16GB variant except that it comes with more internal storage and slightly higher price.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android Lollipop with MIUI 6, it features a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixel, 441 ppi) display. Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its latest budget smartphone, called the Huawei Honor 4A in China. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Huawei’s EMUII 3.1, it features a 5-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The Honor 4A packs 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is capable of further expandability using microSD card.

On camera front, it sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2200mAh battery, the smartphone offers 4G LTE support besides usual set of connectivity options.

Intex has expanded its Aqua series with the launch of Intex Aqua Y2 Power smartphone. Under the hood, the Aqua Y2 Power is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreatrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The device features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with 800×480 pixels resolution.
