Google Play Reduces Minimum Purchase Price For Apps To Rs. 10 In India

Google has announced reduction in minimum purchase price for apps and in-app products on Google Play store from Rs. 50 to Rs. 10. While the minimum price for purchasing apps was Rs. 50 previously, Android users can now download apps from Google Play store for a price as low as Rs. 10. With this move, the company aims to provide more flexibility to users and developers community in India.

It will attract wider audience in the country and Android users will certainly spend more money on purchasing apps and in-built purchases. Besides making apps more affordable to the users, this move will help the company generate more revenue.

Kestrel, an Indian ICT manufacturing company has launched its first smartphone- Kestrel KM 451. As far as specifications of the device are concerned, it is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

On camera front, the device sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 4GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. Backed up by a 1750mAh battery, the KM 451 is claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

ZTE has unveiled its latest smartphone ZTE V3 in three variants- ZTE V3 Youth Edition, V3 Energy Edition and V3 Extreme Edition in China. All the three variants feature metal aluminium body and fingerprint scanner on the rear.
