IFA 2015: Lenovo Vibe S1 With Dual Front Cameras Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Lenovo has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed the Lenovo Vibe S1 at IFA 2015 event in Berlin. Flaunting its dual front facing cameras, the Vibe S1 is aimed at the selfie lovers. One of the two front cameras has resolution of 8 mega pixel while the other one is a 2 mega pixel depth sensor. As per the company, “the 8 mega pixel primary front camera takes the sharpest photos and a 2 mega pixel secondary front camera analyses depth of field information.”

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor paired 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features 5-inch full HD IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.

Intex has expanded its Cloud series with the launch of Intex Cloud V smartphone. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA TFT display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It comes loaded with proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.

Huawei has announced its latest smartphone- Huawei Mate S at IFA 2015 in Berlin. The Mate S is loaded with top notch features and will take on the high end smartphones from giants like Samsung and Apple.

As for specifications, the Mate S is powered by an octa-core Kirin 935 processor paired with Mali-T628 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Emotion 3.1, it features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with with dual-tone LED flash, OIS and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera.

Chinese handset manufacturer Gionee has launched its latest smartphone- Gionee S5.1 Pro in its home market China. The S5.1 Pro is essentially an upgraded variant of the Gionee’s slimmest smartphone Gionee S5.1 which was launched last year.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU. The handset houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable using microSD card. It features a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 2.5D curved Glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection against scratches.

Sony has unveiled the premium version of its flagship Xperia Z5 smartphone, dubbed the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium at IFA 2015. The device is world’s first smartphone to feature a 4K UHD display and has four times pixels resolution of the full HD display.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5.5-inch 4K display with resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and pixel density of 806ppi. There is 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 200GB using microSD card.

Samsung has unveiled its Samsung SleepSense smart sleep tracker at the ongoing IFA 2015 event in Berlin. As the name implies, this tracker lets the users monitor their sleep patterns. The device is a small flat disk type sensor which can be placed under bed mattress while sleeping.

Besides tracking sleep patterns, the SleepSense also excels in monitoring user’s hear and respiratory rate during sleep. It comes with heart rate and breathing rate monitor approved by the US FDA. The SleepSense is a loT device which connects with other Samsung appliances and third party loT devices to create good environment for proper sleep.

Sony has unveiled its Sony Xperia Z5 Compact smartphone at the IFA 2015 alongside its flagship smartphone Xperia Z5. The Z5 Compact is essentially a compact version of the Xperia Z5. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 4.6-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The handset sports a 23 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, hybrid auto focus with 0.03s speed, 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Sony G lens. It also supports 4K video recording. There is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera onboard.
