Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime India Launch Soon: Specifications & Features

Xiaomi seems to be gearing up for the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime smartphone in India. The Chinese handset manufacturer has shared teaser images on its Twitter and Facebook pages saying #PrimeIsComing. The images also shows the front of a device that looks similar to Redmi Note 2 Prime hinting that the company is bringing the phone to India.

After heavily teasing the Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition lately, Motorola has finally launched the smartphone in India. To recall, the Moto G Turbo Edition was first launched in Mexico in November. As a refreshed variant of Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen, it comes with few upgrades such as Turbo quick charge support and IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

Micromax has launched two new smartphone in the Canvas series, called the Micromax Canvas Mega E353 and Canvas Mega 4G Q417. As for specifications, both smartphones feature 5.5-inch HD displays with 1280×720 pixels resolution and run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Micromax has expanded its Canvas series of smartphones with the launch of Micromax Canvas Fire 4G+. It succeeds the Canvas Fire 4G that was launched in September 2015.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM.It features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The handset sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash along with a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Lenovo is gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone, called the Lenovo A7010. The device has been spotted on a Romanian online store. While the listing of the device reveals its specifications and images, the price and availability details are still not known.

As per the listing, the A7010 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 403ppi pixel density.

Oppo has introduced a high-end variant of the Oppo R7 Plus smartphone in China. The original Oppo R7 Plus was launched in India in September 2015 for Rs. 29,990.

As for specificatons, the high-end variant is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Obi Worldphone made its foray into the Indian market last month with the launch of its flagship smartphone, called the Obi Worldphone SF1. The device is now available to buy exclusively from NDTV Gadgets 360. The 16GB variant of Obi Worldphone SF1 is priced at Rs. 11,999 while the 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 13,999.

To recall, Obi Worldphone was co-founded by John Sculley along with Obi CEO Neeraj Chauhan and other partners last year. The phone has been designed by San Francisco-based design studio Ammunition. The phone features a unibody design with metallic accents and floating glass display.
