Facebook-owned social networking service Instagram has introduced a new mute feature. In this new Instagram mute feature, if you don’t want to see someone’s post on your feed, you can mute it. The feature is somewhat similar to WhatsApp’s mute function.
Messaging platform Whatsapp was expected to be soon equipped with group video calling feature. On May 1st, 2018, Mark Zuckerberg announced during Facebook’s annual F8 developer conference that WhatsApp would soon be equipped with group video calling feature. The Whatsapp group video calling feature has been spotted by WABeta Info. It has reached some users on both Android and iOS versions.

According to a Gizmodo report, somewhere around a dozen employees of Google have quit the tech giant. The move has come due to the company’s involvement in an AI drone program for the Pentagon. The project is named Project Maven. Moreover, around 4,000 employees are demanding that the American company end the Google military AI program with the US in a petition. It even states that Google should avoid military work.
Social networking platform Facebook is currently looking to create its own cryptocurrency. According to a Cheddar report, people linked to Facebook mentioned that the Facebook cryptocurrency plan would facilitate users to make electronic payments around the world.
It is widely reported that messaging platform WhatsApp is now affected by two bugs. These WhatsApp bugs make the application crash or could even crash a smartphone totally. The first WhatsApp bug is veiled in a message. The message reads, “This is very interesting (emoji)…Read more”. The text doesn’t indicate at all that it contains something malicious. When a user taps on “Read More”, it freezes the application.
Microblogging platform Twitter asked its users on 3rd May 2018 to change their passwords. This notice was due to a Twitter leak caused by a software bug. According to the company, they had “unmasked” passwords by mistake through a software bug. The company mentioned that the data hasn’t been exposed to any hackers. But Twitter urged its users to change their passwords for safety.
