Airtel To Pay Rs. 350 Crore Penalty Says Delhi High Court

Bharti Airtel has been under the hammer again as the Delhi High Court has pulled the stay order, which now permits the Department of Telecommunications to stop the operator from providing 3G services in seven circles where it does not hold the license to provide 3G. Airtel has now approached Supreme Court to challenge the order.
We recently brought to you the news of the Department of Telecom planning to fine Idea, Vodafone and Airtel for operating in 3G circles without a license. Back then, Airtel was going to be the company which was going to be worst hit and it seems that they’ve been pretty bad. The Delhi High Court has just lifted the stay Bharti Airtel had managed to get to prevent the penalty that was imposed on them.

According to rumours Microsoft is working to roll out an update for windows phone 8. This update will bring FM Radio to windows 8 devices like Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and other compatible devices. Although this news is not confirmed yet officially. But according to The Verge, Microsoft will surely roll out this update. This support for FM radio hardware will be part of a General Distribution Release (GDR2) for Windows Phone 8. As we know that the latest operating system Windows phone 8 does not have feature of FM radio. Although FM Radio was supported by the Windows phone 7.5 and 7.8. Videocon Mobile services made a pioneer step in Indian mobile industry by making telecommunication more accessible to customers. Previously TRAI (Telecom Regulation Authority of India) announced National Telecom Policy 2012 in which TRAI told his vision of ‘One Nation, Free Roaming’.
According to Videocon, every subscriber will get free incoming calls while roaming. And local outgoing calls charge will be Rs. 1/min and STD calls charges will be Rs. 1.5/ min, while roaming. The local/ national outgoing SMS will cost Rs. 3.45/ SMS and International SMS will cost Rs. 5/SMS.

After years of wait, Google finally launched the Play Books in India last month which now has been witnesses by all of us. Surprisingly Google also brought its hardware in India starting with Nexus 7 on 26th March 2013. Last night on 28th March 2013 Google also launched Play Movies which makes even more sense after the launch of their tablets here in India.
Google Play Movies is its own movie rental and purchase service where the patrons can buy or rent a digital download of their favourite movie titles. Pricing are similar to what one can spend on watching movies in theaters but has been decided considering the Indian mentality alike what Apple did with itunes for example a $17.99 movie on the US Play Store is priced at $9.99 for the Indian Play Store.
