Asus To Launch A Global Product At Asus ZenFestival 2015 At Delhi On August 6, Would It Be Zenfone Go?

The Asus ZenFestival 2015 is set to take place on August 6, 2015 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, in New Delhi. The event will be attended by Mr. Jonney Shih, Chairman of AsusTeK Computer Inc. and actress Sonakshi Sinha.

There is no word on which product the company plans to launch. However we expect that Asus is likely to launch the Zenfone Go smartphone, specifications of which have been leaked previously. More details about the global product are likely to surface in the coming days. Intex Partners With Jolla For Sailfish OS 2.0 Licensing

Domestic handset manufacturer, Intex has partnered with Finland based company Jolla (developer of Sailfish OS), for Sailfish OS 2.0 licensing. With this tie-up, Intex Technologies has become first licensing associate in the world to use Sailfish OS 2.0 in its devices. While the partnership has already been announced, Intex devices based on Sailfish operating system are likely to be launched in fourth quarter of 2015 (i.e. Oct-Nov-Dec 2015)

Xiaomi Mi 4i Now Available In India On Open Sale Across More Channels

Xiaomi has announced that its Xiaomi Mi 4i smartphone which was launched earlier this year, in April 2015, will now be available on open sale in India across more channels. At the time of launch, the handset was exclusively available to buy from Flipkart.com via flash sales, however Xiaomi had announced that device will also be available on Snapdeal, Amazon and mi.com in the coming days.

Priced at Rs. 12,999, the phone can now be grabbed from company’s official website- Mi.com; online retailers- Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal; and offline stores- The Mobile Store and Airtel Stores. Read on to find out features and specifications of the Mi 4i smartphone. Facebook has finally launched the 2G friendly Facebook Lite app in India. As the name suggests, the Lite version of Facebook is for the users with slow connections. It uses less data and is less than 1MB. The new version of Facebook is essentially for those users who have poor internet connection limited to 2G.
