OnePlus Ties Up With ReGlobe For Exchange/Buyback Program In India

OnePlus in partnership with ReGlobe has announced exchange/buyback program in India. Under this offer, customers can exchange their old smartphones for a brand-new OnePlus smartphone. This offer is valid till December 31, 2015.

Furthermore, if the exchange/buyback price of old smartphone is Rs.5,000 or more, then buyers will get new OnePlus 2 with B2X service and OnePlus X with B2X On-Guard Plus service for free. To recall, the B2X service costs Rs. 999 and covers manufacturers warranty for OnePlus 2 for one additional year after the expiry of original manufacturer’s warranty. The B2X On-Guard service is for OnePlus X and costs Rs. 699.

Obi Worldphone Launching In India In November

Obi Worldphone has announced that it is soon going to make its foray into the Indian market. To recall, Obi Worldphone was co-founded by John Sculley along with Obi CEO Neeraj Chauhan and other partners last year. The company has already launched Obi Worldphone SF1 and SJ1.5 smartphones in Vietnam and Dubai. Now it has announced its plans to enter in India this month in November 2015.

Both smartphones have been designed by San Francisco-based design studio Ammunition. Obi has partnered with Qualcomm, Dolby, Sony, Corning Incorporated, Google, MediaTek, Japan Display, Inc. and Samsung for both smartphones. InFocus M812, M370 To Receive Android Marshmallow Update By December 2015

InFocus has announced that its InFocus M812 and M370 smartphones will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by the end of this year. Both handsets will thus, run the latest version of Android by December 2015.

To recall, both smartphones were launched back in July 2015 and went on sale lately. The InFocus M812 is priced at Rs. 19,999 and the InFocus M370 costs Rs. 5,999.
