Social networking platform Facebook will soon be setting us up for dates. The California-based company announced at its annual F8 developer conference on 1st May 2018 that it will be adding a dating feature to its app. Facebook dating feature hasn’t come as a surprise to us, as the company seems to be expanding every day, and with the introduction of dating apps everywhere, and CEO Mark Zuckerberg seems to be placing his bet in a not so new territory.

Twitter Data Leak: Micro-Blogging Platform Sold Data To Cambridge Analytica Researcher

Post Facebook’s Cambridge Analytica incident, reports regarding a Twitter data leak have surfaced everywhere and has been confirmed to be true. The microblogging platform sold data access to Global Science Research (GSR), owned by Aleksandr Kogan. Kogan was the Cambridge University academic who created a personality quiz on social networking site Facebook. He used to it gain access to information later used by Cambridge Analytica. Information regarding millions of Facebook users was obtained. The information was provided to a political consulting firm, SCL Group. It was provided without any consent from users.

Google Releases New Update Chrome 66; Mutes Auto-playing Videos

For regular Google Chrome users, the most common source of irritation and frustration is when a video suddenly pops up and auto-plays. We have all been in that immensely irritating situation when we reach the mute option is a jiffy. We know its irritating, and now finally Google has fixed the issue. The tech giant has released Chrome 66 – a new update– which now mutes the auto-playing videos by default.
