After being announced in May 2015, the YuFit fitness band will go on sale in India this month. YuFit is essentially a fitness tracker which enables users to keep a track on their fitness goals. The wearable tracks distance traveled, calories burnt, sleep and much more. It also makes sure that the user stays connected on the go by displaying all incoming calls and messages on its AMOLED display. It comes with find phone feature so that users never misplace their synced smartphone.

The band is compatible with Healthyfy Me app which enables users to keep a track of calorie intake for the entire day. Its also offers coaches for assistance while users can also opt for personal trainers.

Austrian mobile fitness company, Runtastic has launched its Runtastic Orbit smartband in India. The device is a fitness trackers which tracks users daily activities, fitness and sleep.

The Orbit is compatible with Android devices (Running Android 4. or above) and iOS devices (Running iOS 7 or above). User can either wear the device on their wrist or on their belt to track steps taken, distance covered, and calories burnt. Besides, the device also also monitors sleep cycle and sleep duration of the user. It features an ambient light sensor for monitoring sleep. On a single charge, the smartband can last up to 5-7 days.

Fitbit has announced its foray into the Indian market. The company has launched several products such as Fitbit Surge, Fitbit Charge HR, Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Flex, Fitbit One, Fitbit Zip and Fitbit Aria Wi-Fi Smart Scale. Prices of the devices range between Rs 3,990 to Rs. 19,990.

These Fitbit products are targeted towards the fitness freaks across the country who want to reach their fitness goals while also keeping a track on them. LG has officially launched its Android wear smartwatch Watch Urbane in India at Rs. 30,000. However it is available to buy at a lower price of Rs. 29,990 from Amazon India. Besides premium built and design, it boasts of LG Call and LG Pulse features. The LG Call allows users to access recent calls and favorite contacts list on paired smartphone and dial them directly from the watch. The LG Pulse on the other hand, measures the heart rate of the wearer every second during exercise. Furthermore, at the end of activity, it will report the average of heart rate during the activity as well as display a graph on LG Health which according to the company, is coming soon.
