Honor today introduced the flagship Honor 7 smartphone in India at an event in Delhi. The fully-metallic device, which is aimed at digital natives, is purpose-built for single-handed use and includes a host of innovate smart functions and multimedia capabilities operated through its dedicated smart button and gesture-enabled fingerprint reader.

Microsoft has finally launched its next generation fitness tracker called the Microsoft Band 2. The device features a 32mmx12.8mm curved AMOLED screen with 320×128 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It displays texts, emails and calendar alerts right on user’s wrist and comes with 11 sensors.

Besides tracking steps taken, calories burnt and sleep quality, the wearable also comes with continuous heart rate monitor to track heart rate. It also comes with Cortana integration. As for compatibility, it is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows phone devices. The device is good enough to survive up to 48 hours and gets fully charged in 1.5 hours.

LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition Android Wear Smartwatch With 4G LTE Announced

LG has announced the launch of its LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition Android Wear smartwatch. It succeeds the LG Watch Urbane and is the first Android Wear smartwatch to come with 4G LTE support.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 768MB of RAM. Running Android Wear operating system, it is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. It features a 1.38-inch P-OLED display with 480×480 pixels resolution, 348ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection against scratches. The smartwatch is backed up by a 570mAh battery and measures 44.5×14.2mm in dimensions.

Samsung and Oculus have announced the launch of new Gear VR Headset. While the previous Gear VR was compatible with only a few Samsung smartphones, the new Gear VR is compatible with more smartphones. The new compatibility list of smartphones now also includes Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, S6 and S6 Edge.

Compared to the previous version of Gear VR, the new version is 22 percent lighter and also features foam cushioning for more comfort. It also gives greater control to users with its refreshed touchpad. The device comes with accelerator, gyrometer and proximity sensors. It measures 201.9 x 116.4 x 92.6 mm, weighs 310 grams and will be available in Frost White color option.

One is a fitness tracker, which I will review separately in another post, and other is a pair of running shoes- Nike Air Zoom Elite 8, which I am going to review here.
