Flipkart has launched its own tablet Digiflip Pro XT712 in India on 26 June 2014 at a launch event in new Delhi. The 7 inch dual-SIM calling tablet has been priced aggressively at Rs. 9999. Lenovo introduced a new 7-inch tablet in Indian market named Lenovo A7-30. The quad core tablet priced at INR 9,979 at ‘Do Store’ the Lenovo’s official online store. The Lenovo A7-30 tablet comes right after the launch of Lenovo A7-50 another 7-inch tablet from Lenovo which was launched this month. All these A-series tablets from Lenovo was launched in April globally. The both A7-series 7-inch tablet came into light, but the availability and price of A8 and A10 tablets is still unknown in India.
Xolo Win, a windows tablet, was announced at CES has finally been launched in India via Flipkart. The 10.1-inch tablet from Xolo priced INR 19,990, listed on Flipkart with only Black variant and runs on latest operating system Windows 8.1 out of the box from Microsoft.
Lenovo listed a voice calling tablet on its own Do store in India. The tablet is Lenovo A7-50, priced INR15,499 along with 1 year of warranty. And according to listing the tablet will be shipped in 8-10 business days after the placing the order. The Lenovo A series tablet Lenovo A7-50 is a single SIM tablet with voice calling feature and supports 2G and 3G as well.
HP comes up with an entry level affordable tablet in US market with a price tag of $100. The 7-inch device is powered by a 1GHz quad core ARM Cortex A7 processor along with 1GB RAM. The device comes with only Wi-Fi connectivity only, no specific cellular model as well. And there is not any plan to launch it in international market as well.
It’s been rumoured that Xioami might come with a tablet, now all the guesses confirmed, Xiaomi announced Mipad tablet in China. The Xiamoi announced 16GB and 64GB variant of tablet with a price tag of CNY 1,499 and CNY 1,699 respectively, no words about International pricing, but if we roughly translate these figures into rupees, we can expect both these variants will cost around INR 14,000 and INR 16,000 respectively. The tablet was announced at an event in Beijing by Xiaomi CEO.
Lava International Limited announced the launch of its IvoryS tablet for the price INR 8,499. The tablet sports a 7-inch multi touch capacitive display with the resolution of 1024*600 pixel resolution. The tablet has 1.3GHz dual core processor from MediaTek along with Mali 400 GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM. The tablet has 4GB of internal storage along with 32GB memory card support. On the back of smartphone there is a 3.2-megapixel camera along with flash. There is a VGA front camera too for video calling.
