DataWind UbiSlate 10Ci & UbiSlate 3G10 Tablets Launched In India

UbiSlate tablets and PocketSurfer smartphones maker, DataWind has launched its two budget tablets-DataWind UbiSlate 10Ci & UbiSlate 3G10 in India, adding to its UbiSlate series. These tablets with large 10.1 inch screen are developed to target the first time buyers in the Indian market who do not want to spend much and at the same time they want a tablet equipped with good features. Both the tablets apart from their 10.1-inch display size with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, share some more similarities with each other and are available at a pocket friendly price. Both the tablets house 1 GB of RAM, 0.3 mega pixel or VGA front facing camera and pack a 6000 mAh battery, while both the tablets are listed in Black color option.

Chinese telecommunications equipment maker Huawei Technologies has globally launched its Huawei Honor T1 Tablet. This voice-calling tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system with Emotion UI. Though this operating system is now outdated, Huawei promises that it can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat. It houses an 8 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and 188 ppi pixel density. It comes with 8 GB of in-built storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. As far as connectivity is concerned, it includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G.

Toshiba India has launched its Toshiba WT-8 Windows Tablet in India. It is powered by Intel Atom Z3735G processor and runs on Windows 8.1 operating system. It comes with an 8 inch HD multi-touch display (1280 x 800 resolution). It gets 1 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD cars. On imaging front, this tablet comes with a 5 mega pixel primary camera with auto focus and 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. It packs a 3788 mAh battery which is claimed to give 11.1 hours of usage time. It includes Wi-Fi 11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options.
