Micromax has finally launched its Micromax Canvas LapTab tablet in the Indian market. The 2-in-1 Canvas LapTab can be converted into a laptop when connected to a keyboard. It is priced at Rs. 14,999. As for specifications, the device is powered by 1.83 GHz Intel Atom processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device runs Windows 8.1 with a promised upgrade to Windows 10 and features a 10.1-inch IPS touch-enabled display with 1280×800 pixel resolution. Other specifications of Micromax LapTab include 2 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixl front camera, 32 GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card and a 7700 mAh battery which is claimed to survive up to 10 hours.

The Nokia N1 tablet which was unveiled in November 2014 and launched in China in January 2015, has finally made its way to the markets outside China. The tablet has been launched in Taiwan where it will go on sale in May at TWD 8,190 (approximately Rs. 17,000). The N1 tablet is likely to make its debut in other markets as well however it is unclear as of now if the tablet will be launched in India or not. Specifications of Nokia N1 tablet include 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixel) IPS LED-backlit display, 32 GB inbuilt storage, 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and a 5300 mAh battery.

Micromax has expanded its tablet portfolio with the launch its new tablet dubbed the Micromax Canvas Tab P480. Canvas P480 succeeds the Canvas Tab P470 which was launched in December 2014.

As for specifications, the Canvas P480 is powered by quad-core MT8382W/M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz alongside 1 GB of RAM. The tablet currently runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a promised upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop update through FOTA in near future. It features a 7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

The Lenovo Yoga 2 Tablet which was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2015 has now been released in the Indian market. Lenovo has silently listed the tablet on its TheDoStore website. As for specifications, the Yoga 2 Tablet is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.
