Honor has made its foray into the tablet category in India. Alongside its budget smartphone- 5C, the company has launched its first tablet in the Indian market. Samsung has launched its latest tablet- Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE, in Canada. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Samsung has launched its latest tablet, called the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris, in India. Highlight of this tablet is its iris scanner which is Aadhar, STQC and UIDAI certified. Huawei has introduced two new devices- Huawei G9 Lite smartphone and MediaPad M2 7.0 tablet, in China. As for specifications, the G9 Lite packs same specs as the P9 Lite smartphone that was launched last month, in April 2016. It features a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.

iBall has launched its latest tablet, called the iBall Slide Co-Mate. The tablet was earlier listed on company’s official website without any details on price and availability. Now the device is available to buy from online retailer Filpkart for Rs. 6,999.

The device comes in two variants based on storage- 16GB and 32GB, both of which support expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card. On software front, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating wrapped under Emotion UI 3.1.
