HTC Desire L India Launched Expected At Around Rs.20,000 Price Tag

HTC has covered its flagship arena for this year and now it is looking to strengthen its mid range. The company has just announced another mid ranger to adorn its mid range smartphone lineup and the device is HTC Desire L. The smartphone has been launched for the Taiwanese market as of now and there’s no word on the global availability but we expect the smartphone reach us shortly and would be priced around Rs.20,000.

The Desire L features a 4.3 inch capacitive display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with the company’s Sense UI on top of it. The device will get 1GB RAM to help it multitask and the internal storage of the smartphone will stand at 4GB. It will get a microSD card slot as well to help expand the storage capacity by another 32GB. It will be up against the recently launched Lumia 720 which retails around a similar price point.

Before it Idea Cellular has launched six 3G devices. Idea is launching affordable devices for its 2G customers who want to upgrade to 3G in semi-urban and rural markets, across the country. This dual SIM smartphone comes with an attractive data usage offer for Idea 3G users. For a pack of Rs. 261, Aurus 2 users can get 1.6 GB of 3G data and Idea TV subscription free for the first 3 months. Idea smartphones are available at retail stores and Idea outlets across the country. IDEA Cellular is India’s third largest mobile operator, with over 121 million subscribers.

Samsung Galaxy S4, the most hotly anticipated device for this summer will be making its way to Indian stores by the end of April. The launch in India shall happen around 25-27th April with the sales commencing after that. The company will be rolling out the device globally around that time and seeing the fact that India gets Samsung products ahead of many foreign territories, we would not be surprised if India is amongst the first wave of countries to get the device.

And that is not all. The device is expected to come at a sub Rs.40,000 price tag. The expected pricing is Rs.39,000 and once the hype around the launch of the device settles down, you can safely expect the price of the device to go further south as the launch prices tend to be on the higher side. Micromax Canvas A111 Leaked– 5.3 Inch qHD Display

After the Micromax Canvas 3D A115, now another phone is leaked online from Micromax. This time Canvas A111 with the bigger screen and better processor and the better camera is shown at MMX Newscaster. The price of the smartphone is not known yet, but it may be cost around Rs. 15,000 because it comes with 1.2 GHz quad core processor from Qualcomm. The phone comes with an 5.3 inch display with 960*540 pixels density which is pretty decent. The display will be Glove Touch display with up to 5 point multi-touch. There is 4 GB internal memory built in and it can be expandable up to 32 GB via a memory card. One thing I really don’t like it is 512 MB RAM because if you are buying a phone around 15k with a quad core processor from Qualcomm not from Mediatek then you would like to have at least 1 GB RAM for better multitasking. So the final specification is not final yet but it will be interesting to see whether it comes with 1 GB or 512 MB RAM.

Micromax Bolt A51 Budget Android Phone Launched At Rs. 4599

An entry level smartphone from Micromax is now available on online retail stores for the price tag of INR 4,599. Micromax Bolt a51 is a dual SIM android smartphone with two cameras. The screen size of this phone is 3.5 inch, it is an HVGA display with 320 x 480 Pixels resolution. The phone is running on the older version of Android that is v2.3.7 Gingerbread. It comes with 832 MHz single core processor from Broadcom. There is 256 MB RAM along with 512 MB internal storage. The memory is expandable up to 32 GB via a memory card. There is not GPS support in this device as its price is slightly low.

Samsung has had a successful run not only with the high end devices which it offers, but in the mid range department as well. The Galaxy Ace series which was introduced back in 2011 became an instant hit and the devices which later joined the ranks, namely the Ace 2 and Ace Plus were received pretty well too.Now the company is all set to add another member to mid range family, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 (GT-S7272) which will be launched soon.

The smartphone has showed up on the GL benchmark which is more or less a clear indication of the fact that the device is in the works and the launch is nearing. The Galaxy Ace 3 will have a 4 inch screen of WVGA resolution and will get a dual SIM variant as well like the original Galaxy Ace. It will be powered by a Broadcomm made 1GHz dual core processor which will be complemented by a Videocore IV GPU. The recent partnership between the companies will result in a lot of more Samsung devices being powered by Broadcomm chipsets.
