Windows Phone has been catching up these days. If you have noticed there are been a lot of activity going on within the Windows Phone development team. Recently Nokia rolled out the Lumia Black update for all their WP8 devices to enhance the experience a little more. Android and iOS are no doubt ahead but the gap now is not to broad to bridge.
Micromax has launched another new affordable smartphone in Indian market. This new smartphone name Micomax A66 is listed on company website and is available at priced around INR 5610. Recently Micromax already announced two smartphones Micromax Bolt A28 and Micromax Bolt A59 in Indian market which was priced around INR 3,674 and INR 4,542 respectively. Although these smartphones are not available in the market yet. The Micromax A66 is an affordable smartphone, as per specifications and price it’s a good entry level smartphone, but you have to compromise with performance. If you have a budget around 6000 then go for it, otherwise it will be not a good performer due to low RAM and cheap hardware in it.
Last year Huawei announced Ascend Mate smartphone. And now this year at Counsumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas it launched another Ascend Mate smartphone that is Huawei Ascend Mate 2. The best features of this smartphone is its huge display with great battery backup. No company in market launches a smartphone with this type of battery. This smartphone is packed with 4050mAh battery which according to Huawei can charge another smartphone too via a micro USB cable. So suppose you are travelling you just need to charge your smartphone completely, and the battery of this smartphone will never last till travelling. Or may be suppose one of your friends smartphone’s battery backup finished then your friend may just ask you for top-up. That will be an interesting and Huawei has proud this quality of its smartphone.
Sony has launched two new devices at Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas. One is Sony Xperia Z1 Compact which is mini-variant of Sony Xperia Z1 and another one is Sony Xperia ZIS which is full sized variant if Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1 compact comes with a 4.3 inch HD display whereas Z1S is packed with 5 inch full HD display. As processor wise both smartphones are packed with 2.2GHz quad core snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB RAM. Both comes with 20.7 megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor sensor which is capable of full HD video recording. Both smartphones have 2-megapixel full HD front camera that is capable of video calling at 1080 pixel. Xperia Z1 Compact has 16GB internal storage whereas Xperia Z1S has 32GB internal storage. Both smartphones also has Android jelly Bean 4.3 operating system. And as connectivity wise both comes with latest Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and NFC features.
Two new smartphones Nokia Lumia 525 and Nokia Lumia 1320 will be available in market from Tuesday, 14 January. The Nokia Lumia 1320 is mid range smartphone available at price INR 24k. While Nokia also announced budget windows phone Nokia Lumia 525 at attractive price 10,399. The new Nokia Lumia 525 will be available in Orange, White, Yellow and Black colours. This phone was announced globally last year in November. But now Nokia announced availability and price of this device. Like other latest Lumia devices this device also comes with Lumia Black update.
Last year in October we told you about announcement of Nokia Lumia 1320 which was launched with Nokia Lumia 1520. Now today this device is gone on sell this month along with affordable windows device Nokia Lumia 525. The new Nokia Lumia 1320 is now available in the market at a price around 24000. This device will be available in the market from Tuesday, 14 January. It will come in four different colors options like orange, white , yellow and black.
