Samsung has officially announced its new flagship phone the Samsung Galaxy S5 at a press event on the sidelines of MWC 2014 in Barcelona Spain on 24th Feb 2014. The phone will go on sale on 11 April 2014 worldwide in multiple markets at once. Huawei has showcased another Ascend series phone, the Huawei Ascend G6 at the MWC 2014 in Barcelona Spain. It looks very similar to the Ascend P6 which is one of the slimmest phones around. At 7.9 mm thickness, the G6 is much thicker (not really) when compared to the P6. It has a smaller 4.5 inch display and is slightly smaller compared to the P6.
Just like the P6, the Huawei Ascend G6 also comes with an expandable memory with a microSD card slot and offers 8 GB on in-built memory. The highlight of the phones include a 5 MP front facing camera, LTE and Android jelly bean.
Samsung has introduced Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo in Indian market. It is a affordable version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo priced around INR 40,900. Previously, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo also went on sale in India.
LG announced three smartphones under L series, runs on latest Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. The LG L90, LG L70 and LG L40 will be unveiled at the LG event in Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. All smartphone has decent specifications as they dubbed in mid-range series. The LG L40 is most affordable device among three and LG L90 is most premium among three. LG G90 has 4.7-inch IPS qHD display along with 960*540 pixel resolution. It has 1.2GHz quad core processor along with 1GB RAM on board. There is 8GB internal storage in smartphone with no words on memory card support. The smartphone has 2540 mAh battery.
Gionee India has launched two smartphones in country. The Gionee GPAS G4 is mid-range smartphone priced around INR 18,999 while Gionee M2 is affordable smartphone and priced around INR 10,999. Both smartphones comes with 3G support with dual SIM on dual standby mode. Both smartphones has huge battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system running. Gionee GPAD G4 and M2 has 1GB RAM on board. On connectivity front, both smartphones is less with 3G, Wi-Fi, latest Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro USB.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is going to launch next week in India. However, an online retailor TheMobileStore has listed it on its website and priced it INR 18,299. The smartphone has 1 year manufacturer warranty, and it will shipped in 1-2 business days as listed on the website. The smartphone also available on EMI options too on TheMobileStore. The smartphone is not officially launched yet but as it is get listed online, one can but it from here.
Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Core Advance in its home country South Korea. Samsung Galaxy core Advance is available in Deep Blue and Pearl White colors in South Korea. Samsung Galaxy Core is successor of Samsung Galaxy Core smartphone which was launched last year in December. This smartphone has physical buttons at front like Home and Back buttons and there is a Voice recorder button too as well on the side. The smartphone has easy mode user interface. It also has Optical Scan feature that recognizes text from images and read aloud. More features are voice guided camera, instant voice recorder, S Translator, Group Play, Sound & shot and more.
