Micromax today at an event in Delhi launched its first Yu branded device based on Cyanogen operating system- Micromax Yu Yureka Smartphone in India. The highlight of this smartphone is that it runs on Cyanogen 11 based Android 4.4.4 Kitkat operating system which delivers customization, security and optimized performance to the users. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor alongside 2 GB of RAM which delivers high performance to the users.

It houses a 5.5 inch HD IPS with scratch and damage resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This all new smartphone sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with Sony Xmor sensor with features like time-lapse mode, and support for slow motion video recording at 60fps and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Spice Mobiles has launched  Spice Dream Uno H Android One Smartphone in India. This smartphone is the Hindi variant of the existing Android One smartphone which was launched earlier this year by Google. This new launch from Spice offers Hindi user-interface to the users and is priced at Rs. 6,499/-. It is equipped with a Hindi input keyboard, Hindi voice input and Hindi versions of various applications like Sony live, Aajtak, Hungama, Google translate and Spice cloud. Taiwanese electronics company AOC (Admiral Overseas Corporation) has launched its AOC M601 smartphone in India. AOC is majorly into manufacturing TFT monitors, LCD Tv’s and All-in-one Pc’s. Now AOC has entered the Indian smartphone market with its M601 smartphone. This latest single-SIM phablet from AOC is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processor, paired with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box operating system. Domestic smartphone manufacturing company Intex Technologies has launched its budget Android smartphones- Intex Aqua R3 and Aqua V3 in India. Both the devices come with some similarities and some dissimilarities. The Intex Aqua R3 is powered by 1.0 GHz processor with RDA8810 Chipset accompanied with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of in-built storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB. It sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera and 1400 mAh battery. The dimensions are 116 x 62.8 x 10.5 mm and it weighs 100 grams.

While Intex Aqua V3 is powered by 1.0 GHz processor with  SC7715 Chipset and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It houses 256 MB RAM and 2 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB. It sports 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 2 mega pixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front facing camera, packed with a 1300 mAh battery, available in three color options- Black, Brown and White. It weighs 104.3 grams with 115.1 x 62 x 9.5 mm dimensions.
