As expected, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 has finally reached the Indian shores. The handset has been launched in India today, at an event in New Delhi. The registration for the handset will begin on Flipkart from 12th March 2015 at 6.00 PM while it will go on sale starting 24th March. Company has also announced the Limited Edition of Redmi 2 for India which will feature 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage instead of 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. Samsung has unveiled its Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 smartphone. This handset is essentially the successor of Xcover 2 smartphone which was launched in 2013. The Xcover 3, just like its predecessor is rugged and can withstand extreme conditions. It is in line with MIL-STD 810G specification such that it can bear a fall of up to 1.2 meters and also complies with IP67 rating which means that the phone is dustproof and waterproof (up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of water).
