Intex has silently launched a new budget smartphone dubbed the Intex Aqua Y2 Ultra in the Indian market. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and features 4-inch WVGA display with 800×480 pixels resolution.

The Aqua Y2 Ultra is backed up by a 1400mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 130 hours of standby time. Measuring 124.8×63.1×9.95mm in dimensions, it is listed in White, Black, Blue and Champagne color options on company’s website. The handset comes pre-loaded with Intex Zone, Google Play Store, Battery Saver, Clean Master and several other Apps.

Intex has launched a new smartphone in its Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua A2. Under the hood, the dual-SIM phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 4-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Aqua A2 sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Measuring 124.5x64x11.7 mm in dimensions, the handset offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It is listed in Black and Blue color options on official website.

Expanding its Aqua series, Intex has launched a new smartphone- Intex Aqua Q5 in the Indian market. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Huawei launched its Honor 4C smartphone in India last month alongside Honor Bee phone. The Honor 4C is priced at Rs. 8,999 and can be grabbed exclusively from Flipkart.com. With this price tag, Honor 4C looks like a challenge for the likes of Yu Yureka and Lenovo A7000 which are available for the same price. It shares some specs in common with the Honor 4X smartphone. A major difference between the two however is that the former lacks 4G LTE support and comes at relatively lower price.
