Lava Xolo A500 Affordable Dual Core Android Phone

Recently, Lava revealed the most affordable dual core smartphone in India. Xolo A500 is a dual core smartphone and bears a price tag of Rs.6, 999. This phone is the next entry in Lava’s A-series. Despite its low price, the handset adorns all the regular features of a smartphone. Xolo A500 runs on a dual core Snapdragon mobile processor that is clocked at 1GHz along with Adreno 203 GPU. This processor is capable enough to run some of the heaviest applications including High Definition games and several other programs.

Apart from the processor, other basic features of this smartphone include a 4 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 Mega Pixels, a 5 Mega Pixels rear camera with flash and a 0.3 Mega Pixels front camera for video calls. Due to the backing of a strong processor like Snapdragon the camera is capable enough to produce a high quality recording of 720 Pixels. Along with this the phone consists a RAM of 512MB.

HTC Butterfly Launched In India– Price, Features and Details

The Taiwanese smart phone manufacturer finally launched their latest flagship – the HTC butterfly with a MRP of Rs. 49,900 for the Indian market with MOP around Rs. 45,990. This flagship device is the first handset to debut true 1080p full HD display in smart phone market. It sports a 5-inch Super LCD 3 1080p HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and highest pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch.

Technical features of the HTC Butterfly include 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad-core processor with 2GB RAM to deliver best of an Android experience. It has 16GB of internal storage, with an option to expand up to 32GB. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a layer of latest HTC Sense 4+.

Micromax To Launch 4 New Android Tablets In February 2013

Micromax is one of the most popular mobile makers in India. It plans to launch 4 tablets in Indian market in next three weeks. All the four tablets will be seven inches Android tablets. As Mr. Deepak Mehrotra, the Chief Executive Officer of Micromax revealed during the launch of Micromax A116 Canvas HD, “Micromax will be launching around thirty devices this year out of which 4 seven inches tablets based on Ice Cream sandwich and Jelly Bean operating system will be launched in three weeks’ time. The tablets will be a mix of SIM+WiFi only models, and will be priced below Rs.15000.

According to Mr. Mehrotra, 7 inches tablets are quite popular in young customers, therefore Micromax has deliberately kept the size of these tablets at 7 inches. The four tablets will feature dual core processors that are standard processors for all Android based tablets. Also these tablets will be equipped with educational content.

Micromax A54 Smarty Launched At Rs.4599

Micromax disclosed their plans of launching 30 new devices for the Indians this year and as per their promise, they’ve started the onslaught. First was the Micromax A116 and now they’ve laid their eyes on the budget smartphone segment. Micromax has just launched Micromax A54 Smarty and even though Micromax has not released it officially, but it has made its way on to the online stores and is listed as In Stock so you can lay your hands on one too.

Micromax A54 is priced at Rs.4,599 and can be bought from flipkart. The budget smartphone runs on a relatively old Android version which is the Android 2.3 Gingerbread but ICS at this price would have been too much to ask for. The device comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The heart is a single core 1 GHz Qualcomm processor which will give it enough processing power to give the budget smartphone users enough capabilities to multitask.

Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini On Sale In India In Grey Markets At Rs. 18,000

Samsung Galaxy SIII mini, the budget and smaller variant of the record breaking Samsung Galaxy SIII is now available in India. Samsung officially has not launched in India yet but the device is available from the grey market for around Rs. 18,000.

Samsung Galaxy SIII mini measures 121.6 x 63 x 9.9 mm and weighs in at 111.5 g. It features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with a WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels running on a 1Ghz NovaThor U8420 processor with 1GB RAM. The device comes in 16GB and 32GB models with expandable storage up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The smart phone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1500 mAh battery. Apart from the above mentioned features, this handset comes loaded with sensors for accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.

After Micromax Canvas HD, Karbonn Mobiles has too secretly announced its quad core android S1 Titanium. According to the website, Karbonn S1 Titanium is a 1.2 GHz quad-core powered and dual-SIM Android smart phone measuring 66x 134.6×9.25 mm that will be running the latest v 4.1 codenamed as Jelly Bean powered by a 1600 mAh battery and 1GB RAM. The device will be sporting a 11.4 cm high qHD display with 540×960 pixels resolution.

Samsung Note 8.0 With S-Pen Launch At MWC 2013– Details

Samsung is planning for yet another addition to its NOTE series line up, that is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5100. According to the exclusive leaks by Sammobile, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will be a 8.0-inch tablet alike its predecessor Note 10.1 with HD display and S Pen stylus.

Sammobile has also reported that this 8.0-inch tablet is codenamed Kona and will feature 8-inch Super Clear LCD display with 1280×800 pixel resolution. It is also expected to house a quad-core Samsung Exynos 4 Quad 4412 mobile processor paired with 2 GB RAM. Samsung will offer Galaxy Note 8.0 in two models – WiFi Only (GT-N5110) and WiFi+3G (GT-N5100). This tablet will measure 7.95 mm and weigh about 330 grams – almost as much as the iPad Mini.
