Metis Learning on 22nd January 2014 launched India’s first Android-based learning tablet for kids. We have a lot of tablets out in the market that too running on Android operating system then what’s there in this tablet to be called designed for kids? According to ET News, the south Korean Smartphone giant LG could launch the successor of its LG Optimus G Pro at the MWC 2014 which is going to held lately in next month. This new Optimus G Pro 2 will come with some high end specifications like 3GB RAM and LTE- advanced. LG usually launched its smartphones in Mobile World Congress. So as routine it will surely launch some new devices too this time. Last year at MWC 2013 LG launched LG Optimus G Pro and Optimus F5 and F7 too. The LG launch its device with different designs, like it launched LG G2 with power and volume rocker buttons at back of the smartphone. So it will be interesting to see if it will come up with something new this time too.
Sammy Hub first spotted Samsung Galaxy S III and now Samsung has made available this device on its China website officially without pricing and availability details. This latest device is launched in China, but there is not any information about availability in the rest of the world. Samsung has recently launched its new phablet and successor of Galaxy Grand in Indian market. The Galaxy Grand 2 has been priced at INR 22,999 in India. However, there is not any information about Galaxy S III Neo+ in India. As it sports decent specifications, it will be a good mid-range smartphone in India too.

Now this time another worldwide player of laptop and PC, Sony has comes up with similar this time but at very expensive cost in Indian market. Sony has launched Vaio Flip line in India, Vaio Flip convertibles laptop-cum-tablet devices comes in three display options of 13-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch. The price of these devices is INR 99,990 for Flip 13, Flip 14 will cost INR 94,990 and Flip 15 will cost around INR 1,04,990. These fully featured devices will be available from the first week of next month.

Huawei has announced a new phablet with 5.5 inch display along with 720 pixel resolution. But there is not details announced about pricing and availability of smartphone worldwide. Though Huawei said that it will start selling this device in China from 20 January onwards. This device is the successor of Huawei A199 which was announced in April 2013. The complete specifications and more details are not revealed yet. But according to sources, the back panel of this device will be covered with a metal coating. Earlier we told you that Huawei announced Ascend Mate 2 4G at Consumer Electronics Show 2014. Which was also a phablet with 6.1-inch massive big screen.
