Panasonic has launched its Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 semi-rugged laptop in the Indian market. This device is touted as the most stylish, thinnest and lightest semi-rugged laptop. The laptop measures 29.8 mm in thickness and weighs 1.99 kg which makes it approximately 50% thinner and 25% lighter than the previous model CF-53.

The CF-54 laptop is suitable for business professionals, service engineers in the automotive diagnostic industry, field work and other business verticals. It also allows users to customize it on the basis of usage with integrated ports, 3G, dedicated GPS and other customization.

AsusPro BU201 & BU401 Ultrabooks Launched In India: Specifications & Features

Asus has launched its two ultrabooks in the Indian market, dubbed tha AsusPro BU201 & BU401. Both ultrabook laptops are targeted at the business segment across the country. As for specifications, the AsusPro BU201 is powered by an Intel Core i5-4210U processor paired with Intel HD Graphics 4400. Running Windows 8.1 Professional (64-bit), it features a 12.5-inch full-HD LED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It packs 4GB of RAM and 500GB of hard disk storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

The AsusPro BU401 on the other hand, features a 14-inch LED backlit display with a 1600×900 pixels resolution and runs Windows 7 64-bit Professional (upgradable to Windows 8 64bit Professional).

Targeted at the gaming buffs in the country, this notebook boasts of its great design, specs and visuals. Highlight of this device is that it features SonicMaster and AudioWizard. Former offers superior audio while latter offers up to five presets tailor-made for popular game genres to the gamers.

The Google Chrome OS based Xolo Chromebook which was launched last month in India is now available to buy via e-commerce retailer Snapdeal. The Xolo Chromebook is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Rockchip 3288 processor paired with ARM Mali 760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It features an 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 pixels resolution and houses 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card.

Backed up by a 4200mAh battery, the Chromebook is claimed to survive for up to 10 hours. It also comes with 1 mega pixel front camera (1280×720 pixels) for video calling. Dell has announced the launch of a new range of products comprising of XPS 13, Alienware 15 & 17, Inspiron 5000 Series and Venue 8 7000 Series in India.

The Dell XPS 13 is powered by 5th Generation Intel Core i7 processors, runs Windows 8.1 OS and offers up to 15 hours of battery life on single charge. It comes with optional UltraSharp Quad HD+ infinity display with 5.7 million pixels and 5.2mm bezels.

The Dell Alienware 15 and 17 gaming laptops are powered by up to Intel Core i7 overclocked processors and run Windows 8.1 OS. Both the 15-inch and 17-inch Alienwares can be clubbed with Alienware graphics Amplifier for better graphics performance.
