The Casio G-Shock G-Squad GBD-H1000 is priced in India at Rs 39,995. It is available via the CasioIndiaShop website and Amazon.

The new smartwatch sports an HD memory-in-pixel (MIP) LCD display with high-contrast and large non-slip buttons. A curved back cover has a soft urethane band for comfort.
The Casio G-Shock G-Squad GBD-H1000 features a circular dial with multiple buttons on the sides. It is available in White and Black bands.
The new wearable supports 20-bar water resistance (can survive 200m underwater). It comes with an optical heart rate sensor and offers VO2 max measurement.

The Casio G-Shock G-Squad GBD-H1000 uses heart rate and running speed to calculate the maximum consumable oxygen uptake per kilogram of body weight in one minute.
A built-in miniature sensor takes measurements of compass bearing, altitude, barometric pressure, and temperature. There is also an acceleration sensor to measure step count and distance travel.
The new smartwatch comes with a built-in GPS. There is also a vibration notification function that allows users to get alerts for calls, emails, and messages.

The Casio G-Shock G-Squad GBD-H1000 supports solar-powered charging for daily use. However, with solar charging, it operates in Time Mode (only allows step measurement and notifications functions).
The new wearable can also be charged via a USB port at the back. It is sais to deliver up to 14 hours of usage with 2.5 hours of charging.
Additional features on the device include five sensor functions, a rugged exterior, and a shock-resistant structure (prevents direct shock to the glass and buttons).
