The Canon EOS 250D will be available in the US (as Canon EOS Rebel SL3) at $599.99 (approx Rs 41,500) for the body only unit. The camera kit with an EF-S 18-55 f/4-5.6 IS STM lens costs at $749.99 (approx Rs 51,900).
As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The new DSLR sports a 24.1-megapixel APS-C sensor and Digic 8 image processor (improves autofocus performance). It has the sensitivity range of up to ISO 25,600 and shoots at 5fps. Along with the regular 4K video recording, the camera also allows you to capture 4K time-lapse videos.
The Canon EOS 250D comes with a new Spot AF. It is designed to focus on a precise area within the subject. The camera also offers Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Eye Detection AF in Live View shooting mode. The new autofocus (AF) system provides an array of nine AF points across the optical viewfinder.
The new camera sports a 3.0-inch vari-angle LCD monitor along with an optical viewfinder. Onboard features include Smooth Skin setting and a Creative Assist interface. Additionally, it includes a range of settings to adjust the images for different environments.
The Canon EOS 250D weighs around 449 grams. It allows you to remotely transfer media to compatible Android and iOS devices via the Camera Connect app. Connectivity options include an HDMI port, a USB port, and Wi-Fi.

Conclusion
The Canon EOS 250D is a successor of the EOS Rebel SL2 aka EOS 200D camera. However, it seems similar to the M50 mirrorless camera (launched in February last year). Highlights of the new camera remain Canon’s Digic 8 processor, 3-inch vari-angle LCD touchscreen monitor, 5fps burst shooting rate and Wi-Fi connectivity.
