The Black Shark 2 Pro is priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,000) for the 12GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 35,000).
The gaming smartphone is up for reservation now. Sales will start on August 2. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The Black Shark 2 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core processor along with with Adreno 640 GPU, 12GB RAM, and 128GB/ 256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.
The gaming smartphone also comes with the company’s proprietary Liquid Cool 3.0+ technology (manage heat dissipation) and integrated DC Dimming 2.0 support. The 4,000mAh battery comes with 27W fast charging support.
In terms of optics, the Black Shark 2 Pro sports a dual-camera setup (with 2x optical zoom) on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.75 aperture) with a 12-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture). For selfies, the handset sports a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Black Shark 2 Pro runs Android 9 Pie operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 430ppi. It also comes with TrueView Display support and 240Hz refresh rate.
The new handset comes with an improvement in display touch response. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a gyroscope.
The Black Shark 2 Pro also comes with an improved grip and two more RGB LED lights on the rear panel. It measures 163.61 x 75.01 x 8.77mm and weighs 250 grams. Users can choose from Electric Black and Ice Ash color options.
