The Vodafone Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra is priced at Rs 2,899. However, Vodafone is offering cash backs of Rs 1,900 in 36 months. This brings the effective price of the new handset to Rs 999 (if you use the handset for a 3-year period). The Bharat 2 Ultra will go on sale in November this year.
The Reliance Jio Phone was launched with an effective price of Rupee zero, with a similar 3-year contract. Recently, BSNL and Micromax launched Bharat 1, with unlimited data and calls, which brings the effective price lower than the Jio Phone.
Conditions
Interested users can buy the new Bharat 2 Ultra at Rs 2,899. However, you will have to recharge it (at least Rs 150 per month) for the next 36 months. At the end of 18 months, users will get be eligible for a cashback offer of Rs 900. You can get an additional cash back of Rs 1,000 after another 18 months. The cash back will be offered in via customer’s Vodafone M-Pesa wallets. You can utilize this for digital transactions or withdraw cash as per user convenience.
