Nokia Phones With Pelican Camera Can Focus After Clicking Pictures

Nokia and smartphone imaging is a relationship that has existed for quite a while now with the company bringing out the best in class smartphones and the same is going to happen in near future as well. Nokia has already increased its investment in Pelican imaging and now, Pelican has stated that it is in talks with at least one smartphone manufacturer which will be using their proprietary camera module in the smartphones of near future.

iBall Andi 5L With 5 Inch Display To Compete With Micromax Canvas 2

iBall, an Indian smartphone manufacturer has just launched a 5 inch smartphone, the iBall Andi 5L for a price of Rs.10,490. It will be joined later on by iBall Andi 5Li which will be somewhat a slightly upgraded version of the Andi 5L. iBall Andi 5L is a 5 inch smartphone and will be pitted against the Micromax Canvas 2 and Micromax A115 3D. It will come with a Galaxy Note like Stylus and flip cover to lend it that premium look on the outside.

Sony Xperia L Launched At Rs.18,990- Details

Sony made their intentions of being a major player in the smartphone arena pretty clear when they launched the Xperia Z as the flagship device. But in countries like India where carriers do not subsidise the handsets, we Indians end up buying mid range smartphones so Sony is well aware of the fact that it needs a strong mid range if it wants to be successful in India. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Video Review And Price In India

The iPad mini rivaling Galaxy Note 510 or Galaxy Note 8.0 has just gone on sale in India and the device can be ordered from Samsung’s estore for Rs.30,900. The tablet comes in two variants, Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+3G. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has basically the same heart as the Galaxy Note 2 but it has a much bigger screen to power instead. The Galaxy Note 8.0 as the name suggests has a 8.0 inch screen which is a 720p display unit.

Under the hood is a 1.6GHz quad core Exynos processor of Cortex A9 architecture. It will join hands with 2 gigs of RAM to help it multitask pretty well. The tablet runs on the latest version of Android, 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and it is highly likely that will get updates in future as well. The tablet supports calling functionality and in addition to it, has the much famed S-Pen integrated neatly into its back which offers a slew of software goodies.

Lava Iris 405 Dual Core CPU Android Smartphone Launched At Rs.7,499

Lava, the Indian electronics manufacturer has just launched the Iris 405 which is the latest member of the Iris series from the home grown smartphone manufacturer. The Iris 405 has a 4 inch capacitive display which has resolution of 800×480 pixels which shall be just adequate for a screen this size. The company has priced the smartphone quite competitively and it will be sold for Rs.7,499.

The smartphone has its heart as a 1GHz dual core processor which will be a Mediatek unit. The smartphone launches with the latest version of Android, 4.1 Jelly Bean and it is quite nice to see that as smartphones in that price segment usually run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device comes with a 5 megapixel rear shooter and a VGA front snapper and the device gets a decent camera unit for the price it commands.

Intex i-Buddy Connect Launched For A Price Of Rs.9,990

We recently brought to you the news of Spice launching its first calling tablet and joining it will be the Intex i-buddy connect tablet which is a dual SIM tablet and offers calling functionality. It has been launched at a price of Rs.9,990 and the specifications of the device are such that they make the Spice Slatepad seem overpriced by a big margin as the Intex offering has the same pricing as the Spice Slatepad but offers way more in terms of functionality and features.

Intex i-buddy has dual SIM slot and one of them will support 3G connectivity while the other one will support 2G connectivity. It will feature voice calling as well. It is a 7 inch tablet and it runs on a slightly older version of Android, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when most of the companies are shifting to Jelly Bean. The tablet will support 5 touches at one point and powering the device will be a 1GHz dual core processor which will team up with a 1GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Win And Galaxy Fame Launched- Video Review And Details

Even though Samsung has not officially launched the Galaxy Win and Galaxy Fame devices in India, the pricing details seem to have leaked and our friends back at Fone Arena have just come up with launch prices of these devices. The Samsung Galaxy Win will retail for Rs.18,300 whereas the cheaper sibling, the Galaxy Fame will retail for R.10,999. A launch of these devices is impending in the country.
