Google Unveils Haier & Hisense Chromebooks, Asus Chromebook Flip

Google has announced addition of new low cost Chrome OS based devices to its product portfolio. The new Chrome OS based devices include Haier Chromebook 11, Hisense Chromebook and Asus Chromebook Flip. Google has also announced Asus Chromebit HDMI dongle which turns any TV into a full-fledged Chrome OS computer. Both Haier Chromebook 11 and Hisense Chromebook share some specifications in common. Both Chromebooks feature 11.6-inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Rockchip RK3288 Cortex-A17 quad-core processor, 16 GB storage, 2 GB RAM. Haier Chromebook is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of battery life while Hisense variant offers up to 8.5 hours of battery life.

Intex Aqua Y2 Launched At Rs. 5,190: Specs & Features

Intex has silently released its affordable Intex Aqua Y2 smartphone in the Indian market. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) handset is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clocked at 1.2 GHz paired with 1 GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and features a 4 inch WVGA IPS display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The phone comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. It packs a 1400 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 235 hours of standby time.

Micromax Bolt D320 Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Micromax has launched its 3G enabled smartphone dubbed Micromax Bolt D320 in the Indian market. As for specifications, the phone packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It features a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The handset sports a 3.2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash while there is also a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. On storage front, Bolt D320 houses 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The handset packs a 1600 mAh battery.

After a numerous rumors and leaks about Xiaomi’s upcoming affordable device, Xiaomi has finally taken wraps off the more affordable version of Redmi 2 dubbed the Xiaomi Redmi 2A smartphone. Xiaomi has unveiled the handset on the occasion of its fifth anniversary alongside Mi Note (Pink Edition). The Redmi 2A is identical to Redmi 2 in specifications except that the former is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 Leadcore L1860C processor while the latter packs 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.

Motorola Opens First Moto Care Center In Bangalore

Motorola has announced the opening of its first Moto Care center in Bangalore, India. The ‘Moto Care’ Experience Center is located on High street building, 11th Main road 4th block, Jayanagar and is spread across 3000 sq.ft. Besides offering after sales service and support to the customers, the Experience center will allow potential buyers to have hands on experience before they buy the handsets. The Moto Care center will offer entire Motorola’s portfolio such as Moto X (both leather and wood versions), Moto Turbo, Motorola Nexus, Moto G, Moto E and Moto 360. Motorola’s exclusive partner Flipkart will continue with its operations and the experience center will help buyers through the entire process of ordering products online.

Intex has launched its new smartphone Intex Aqua HD 5.0 in India. As for specifications, the dual-SIM handset is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582V processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It features a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. YotaPhone Gets Another Price Slash, Now Available For Rs. 8,999

Within six months of its launch in the Indian market, YotaPhone has received third price slash. The handset is now available for Rs. 8,999 through e-commerce website Flipkart which is the exclusive retailer of the device.
