Xiaomi Mi 4i Launched In India At Rs. 12,999: Specs, Features & Hands On Review

Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 4i at its ‘i Is Coming’ event in New Delhi. On design front, the handset flaunts its unibody polycarbonate body and features matte finish with anti grease coating. As for specifications, the dual-SIM phone is powered by second generation octa-core (quad 1.7 GHz + quad 1.1 GHz) Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and features a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixel, 441 ppi) fully laminated OGS display. Backed up by a 3120 mAh battery, the Mi 4i comes with quick charge feature which charges the battery up to 40 percent in one hour and 100 percent in three hours. Measuring just 7.8 mm in thickness, Mi 4i weighs 130 grams. It will be available in white, black, orange, light blue and pink color options.

Asus has finally launched its highly anticipated Zenfone 2 in India, today at an event in New Delhi. The Zenfone 2 has been launched in four variants which are now up for pre-orders exclusively on Flipkart.com. The variants can also be grabbed from Asus retail stores across the country. All the four variants share some specifications in common which include 64-bit Intel Atom quad-core processor, 5.5-inch display, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Zen UI, 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera, 3000 mAh battery, microSD slot (up to 64 GB) and 4G LTE support.

Gionee launched its flagship Elife S7 phone in India earlier this month while now the company is said to be working on its next flagship phone. Gionee’s upcoming flagship phone (GN9008) has been spotted on database of benchmarking website named GFXBench. Furthermore, the handset is likely to be called Gionee Elife E8.

According to the listing of the handset on GFXBench, it will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will feature a 4.6-inch quad-HD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution.

Gionee has launched its new smartphone dubbed the Gionee Pioneer P4S in the Indian market. Under the hood, the dual-SIM handset is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz paired with 1 GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 4.5-inch WVGA display. It houses 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. WhatsApp Voice Calling Feature Starts Rolling Out For iOS Users

Within less than a month of rolling out WhatsApp voice calling feature for Android users, Facebook owned WhatsApp has started the roll-out of the said feature for iOS users. To recall, the roll-out for Android users began in February 2015 and iPhone users remained disappointed all that while. Now, iOS users will not have to wait much for the said feature since WhatsApp has released a major update (version 2.12.1) for its iOS app. However similar to the roll-out process followed for Android customers, iOS users will also not get the voice calling feature on all devices at once since App Store’s listing states that it “is rolling out slowly over the next several weeks.”
