Micromax Canvas Tab P690 Launched At Rs. 8,999: Specs & Features

Micromax has launched its new tablet Micromax Canvas Tab P690 in India. The tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It features an 8-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels and runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS (upgradable to Android Lollipop).

It sports a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Backed up by a 4000mAh battery, the Canvas Tab P690 measures 209.8×120.5×7.8mm in dimensions and weighs 318 grams. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG.

Expanding its Iconia series, Acer has announced its two new tablets- Acer Iconia One 7 B1-760HD and Iconia One 8 B1-830 at Computex 2015.

The Acer Iconia One 7 B1-760HD is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features a 7-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable via microSD card. It offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as connectivity options.

Acer Chromebox CX12 Announced At Computex 2015: Specs & Features

Acer has unveiled the successor of Chromebox CX1, the Acer Chromebox CX12 at Computex 2015. It is essentially a desktop PC running Chrome OS. The Chromebox CX12 is powered by an Intel Broadwell with either Core i3 or Celeron processor paired with 8GB of RAM DDR3 and Intel HD integrated graphics. It houses 16GB SSD storage, four USB ports and HDMI port.

The new Chromebox offers WiFi 802.11ac , Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet and SD card reader as connectivity options. It also comes bundled with a keyboard and mouse.

Videocon has launched its new tablet dubbed the Videocon VA81M in India. The dual-SIM tablet comes with voice-calling support.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. There is 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. On imaging front, it sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, the Videocon VA81M tablet offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options.

Asus has unveiled new Asus Zenfone 2 variants- Zenfone 2 (ZE500KL), Zenfone 2 (ZE550KL) and Zenfone 2 (ZE600KL) at Computex 2015 event. These new variants pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and 410 SoCs instead of Intel Atom chipsets.

As far as specifications of the handsets are concerned, the ZenFone 2 ZE500KL is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM. Intex has launched two new budget smartphones in its Aqua series- Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong. Both handsets share some specifications in common. The Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong smartphones pack a 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715 processor, 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2 mega pixel rear camera, VGA front facing camera and dual-SIM support.
