Lenovo PB1-770N With 6.8-inch Display, 3500mAh Battery Appears On TENAA

Lenovo is working on a new smartphone which has made its appearance on Chinese reulatory website TENAA. The device called the Lenovo PB1-770N has recently got certification from Chinese agency.

As per the listing on TENAA, the dual-SIM phablet is powered by a  1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It features a 6.8-inch TFT display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Vibe UI. There is 32GB of inbuilt memory on board which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. On imaging front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Dell Launches XPS 13, Alienware 15 & 17, Inspiron 5000 Series & More In India

Dell has announced the launch of a new range of products comprising of XPS 13, Alienware 15 & 17, Inspiron 5000 Series and Venue 8 7000 Series in India.

The Dell XPS 13 is powered by 5th Generation Intel Core i7 processors, runs Windows 8.1 OS and offers up to 15 hours of battery life on single charge. It comes with optional UltraSharp Quad HD+ infinity display with 5.7 million pixels and 5.2mm bezels.

The Dell Alienware 15 and 17 gaming laptops are powered by up to Intel Core i7 overclocked processors and run Windows 8.1 OS. Both the 15-inch and 17-inch Alienwares can be clubbed with Alienware graphics Amplifier for better graphics performance.

Oppo Neo 5 (2015) and Neo 5s Announced: Price, Specs & Features

Chinese handset maker Oppo has launched two new smartphones- Oppo Neo 5 (2015) and Neo 5s. Both smartphones share some specifications in common and are upgraded variants of Oppo Neo 5 which was launched last year in 2014.

Both handsets feature a 4.5-inch IPS display with 854×480 pixel resolution and 218ppi pixel density. Oppo Neo 5 (2015) and Neo 5s pack 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB and 128GB respectively. There is an 8 mega pixel rear  camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera on both the phones. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, the smartphones measure 131.9×65.5×8.0mm and weigh 135 grams.

Videocon has launched a new smartphone called the Videocon Infinium Z51 Nova in India. As for specifications, the handset is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

On imaging front, it sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Camera features on the smartphone include HDR mode, Panorama mode, Face Beauty, Self-timer, Smile Shot and Voice Capture. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage on board which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Lenovo has launched new range of 2-in-1 Yoga Laptops in India. Targeting students in the country, the new series comprises of Yoga 300, Yoga 500, Yoga 3 14 and Yoga 3 Pro convertible laptops. All these 2-in-1 Intel powered Windows 8.1 laptops feature 360 degree flexibility for use in different modes.

The Yoga 300 tablet PC is powered by a quad-core Intel Baytrail processor and features an 11.6-inch HD touchscreen display. The Lenovo Yoga 500 is powered by Intel 5th gen Core i7 paired with Nvidia Gfx graphics and sports 14-inch full-HD touch screen display. Both Yoga 300 and Yoga 500 come equipped with integrated speakers with Dolby Home Theater and Wi-Fi support.

Apple Announces iOS 9, Apple Music & More At WWDC 2015

At the  annual developers conference, WWDC 2015, Apple has made a host of announcements including iOS 9, Apple Music, Watch OS 2.0, OS X EL Captain, Car apps and more.

Starting with iOS 9, the new OS comes with upgraded Siri with Proactive suggestions. This move is essentially to take on Google Now. Users will now be able to search wider range of topics using Siri which now comes with wider range of answers. The new OS also comes with a News app on the Home screen which will collect top news, stories along with image galleries, videos and animations based on the topics of users interest. Apple has partnered with The New York Times for 33 articles a day on its News app. The News app will be available first in the US, UK and Australia.
