Xolo Chromebook Goes On Sale In India For Rs. 12,999: Specs & Features

The Google Chrome OS based Xolo Chromebook which was launched last month in India is now available to buy via e-commerce retailer Snapdeal. The Xolo Chromebook is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Rockchip 3288 processor paired with ARM Mali 760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It features an 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 pixels resolution and houses 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card.

Backed up by a 4200mAh battery, the Chromebook is claimed to survive for up to 10 hours. It also comes with 1 mega pixel front camera (1280×720 pixels) for video calling. The Xolo Chromebook measures 290x205x17.9mm in dimensions, weighs 1.15kgs and offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as connectivity options.

Micromax Likely To Launch Flagship Smartphone Canvas 5 On June 18

Micromax has sent out invites for an event on June 18 in New Delhi where it is likely to launch its flagship smartphone Micromax Canvas 5. While two years have passed since the launch of Canvas 4 smartphone, there has not been any announcement about the launch of its successor.

The invite sent by Micromax reads “Mystery prisoner found locked in. Can he escape his destiny?” The company has also put #JailBreak besides Micromax logo on the invite. Micromax on its social media accounts as well, is teasing that there is a mystery prisoner who will be set free tomorrow at company’s event.

BenQ has launched two new gaming monitors- the 24-inch XL2430T and 27-inch XL2730Z in India. These BenQ gaming monitors are targeted at gaming enthusiasts in the country. Samsung has launched a new tablet, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab E in Taiwan. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 9.6-inch WXGA TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 5000mAh battery, the device measures 241.9 x 149.5 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs 490 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. Chinese handset maker Coolpad has slashed the price of its Coolpad Dazen 1 smartphone. The handset was originally introduced for Rs. 6,999 last month. Now, the company has permanently dropped the price of the handset to Rs. 5,999 to take on the likes of Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2. The Dazen 1 is now available to buy through flash sales exclusively from Snapdeal at the new price.
