Lava Iris X1 Atom S Launched At Rs. 4,149: Specs & Features

Lava has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Lava Iris X1 Atom S smartphone. As far as specifications of the handset are concerned, it is powered by a 1GHz single core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 4-inch TFT display with 800×480 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The X1 Atom S sports a 5 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. Backed up by a 1400mAh battery, it delivers up to 5 hours 41 minutes of talk time and up to 170 hours of standby time on 3G networks.

OnePlus One Now Available To Purchase From Flipkart

OnePlus which was exclusively available to buy from Amazon India, can now be grabbed from Flipkart.com as well. The company has ended the exclusivity of its One smartphone making it available through one more retailer- Flipkart. Celebrating the launch of the handset on Flipkart, and as a part of Flipkart’s ‘Big App Shopping Days’, the OnePlus One 64GB Sandstone black variant will be available for grabs for Rs 19,998 from June 22 -24.

Starting June 25, the 64GB Sandstone Black will be available for Rs 21,999. The 16GB Silk White variant on the other hand, will be available for Rs 18,999 on Flipkart in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus Image Leaked, Tipped To Feature 5.5-inch Display

An image of Samsung’s upcoming smartphone S6 Plus has surfaced online. Leakster OnLeaks has posted an image of of a smartphone which is said to be the Galaxy S6 Plus phone. As per the leaked image, the handset will be a bigger and sleeker variant of Galaxy S6 Edge. It is also said to feature 5.5-inch display and measure 154.45×75.80×6.85 mm in dimensions. The smartphone will retain dual edged display like the Galaxy S6 Edge.

As per the previous leaks, Galaxy S6 Plus is rumored to pack hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, a 16 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Samsung has launched Galaxy J7 smartphone in China alongside Galaxy J5 smartphone. Both selfie focused dual-SIM smartphones will go on sale in China this week in Black, White and Gold color options. Both J5 and J7 get a 5 MP front facing camera with LED Flash, which is a first from Samsung. The Galaxy J7 is priced at CNY 1798 (approximately Rs. 18,500). There is no word on availability of the handsets in global markets.

As for specifications, the Galaxy J7 comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 13 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera, 16GB of inbuilt memory, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and 3000mAh battery.

Samsung has launched two new smartphone in its J series- Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in China. The Samsung Galaxy J5 is priced at CNY 1398 (approximately Rs. 14,000). It will go on sale in China this week in Black, White and Gold color options. There is no word on availability and pricing of the handset outside China. Both phones well equipped to take selfies with a 5 MP front facing camera with LED flash.

In line with the previous leaks, the Galaxy J5 comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, 13 mega pixel primary camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and 2600mAh battery.

Samsung has launched its two new voice calling tablets- 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A and 9.6-inch Galaxy Tab E in the Indian market. As for specifications, the Galaxy Tab A is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features an 8-inch XGA display with 1024×768 pixels resolution.

Other specifications of the Galaxy Tab A include 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), 5 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 4200mAh battery.
